Fastest runner in the fifth grade

I still remember the first time I race with Leslie. I thought that I would be the fastest runner in the fifth grade and not even Gary could beat me. I told Gary that Leslie could enter unless he is afraid of losing to a girl. Leslie entered in the race and to my surprise, she won the race. To be honest, I was shocked of the result and wondered if it is my fault that racing would not be fun anymore in the future.
