On May,23 2006, the body of a girl named Leslie Burke was found in the creek near her backyard. Based on the statement of her friend, Jesse Aarons, as she was swinging over to the woods, the rope snapped and as she was falling down, she hit her head and dropped into the creek. The police have listed the cause of Leslie Burke's death as natural death. Leslie Burke's family had decided to move back to their hometown in Pennylvania after her funeral. Her body will be buried at Sungrove cemetery. Jesse Aarons in now in a state of confusion and as said by his mother, he is coming in terms with the death of his best friend,Leslie Burke.
